My work has emphasized conservation of endangered species, migratory birds, and their habitats. I have experience building and nurturing partnerships, facilitating decision making on complex and controversial issues, and fostering effective linkages between science and management with conservation partners in the U.S. and Mexico. I earned a M.S. in conservation biology from the University of Minnesota and a B.A. in geology from Macalester College. I also love cooking, hiking, boating, and yoga.
