DESCRIPTION:Bridges over water between Mexico and the United States\nWater connects communities\, ecosystems\, institutions\, and countries. On October 20–21\, 2026\, water professionals\, experts\, and organizations from Mexico and the United States will gather in Monterrey\, Nuevo León\, for Bridges over water between Mexico and the United States\, a binational event focused on advancing cross border solutions through dialogue\, collaboration\, and shared knowledge to address common water challenges.  \nHosted at the Museo de Historia Mexicana Auditorium\, the event will bring together researchers\, practitioners\, policymakers\, and institutions to exchange knowledge\, build partnerships\, and advance cross border solutions for the sustainable management of shared water resources. \nThe event is co–hosted by the Rosenberg International Forum on Water Policy and the Permanent Forum of Binational Waters\, with  the collaboration of UC Alianza MX\, the Udall Center for Studies in Public Policy at the University of Arizona\, El Colegio de la Frontera Norte\, the California Institute for Water Resources\, and UC Agriculture and Natural Resources. \nPreliminary agenda\nThe two-day program will feature keynote presentations\, panel discussions\, and interactive conversations focused on the following topics:: \n\nThe current and future of the Rio Grande/Río Bravo Basin.\nChallenges and opportunities in the Colorado River Basin.\nBinational water governance and cooperation.\nWater policy and treaty implementation.\nLocal stakeholder engagement.\nRisk management\, innovation\, and collaboration.\nLessons learned to strengthen long-term water security.\n\nA detailed agenda with speakers and session schedules will be announced soon. \nSave the date\nJoin us on October 20–21\, 2026\, at the Museo de Historia Mexicana Auditorium in Monterrey\, Nuevo León\, and be part of the conversation shaping the future of shared waters between Mexico and the United States through dialogue\, science\, and cross border solutions. \nEvent: Bridges over water between Mexico and the United States\nDates: October 20–21\, 2026\nLocation: Museo de Historia Mexicana Auditorium\nAddress: Dr. José Ma.
