Benefits to our members
The PFBW is eligible to attract grants, both in Mexico and the U.S., and through international organizations. Therefore, our members are also eligible to submit proposals as principal investigators, co-principal investigators, or collaborators on behalf of Binational Waters.
The indirect cost or overhead cost of the PFBW proposals submitted by members of the forum varies depending on the project, but it is usually around 15% of the overall cost of the projects/proposals. Amounts associated with these costs are negotiable and will vary on a case-by-case basis.
Additionally, our members are eligible to form their own binational teams with members or non-members of Binational Waters with the corresponding expertise without the approval of Binational Waters as long as the submitting institution remains the PFBW.
To submit a project to the forum, it is essential to be an active member. We invite you to register as a member of the Forum here.
