On January 25, 2022, from 4:00 to 5:15 p.m. (CT), the Permanent Forum of Binational Waters hosted a special Coffee Break session exploring the role of Native Nations in transboundary water conservation and environmental justice.

This event highlighted the critical yet often overlooked role of Indigenous leadership in shaping equitable, culturally grounded approaches to water governance along the U.S.–Mexico border.
