Join us on October 7, 2022, from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. (CT) for a special Happy Hour – Business of the Day session hosted by the Permanent Forum of Binational Waters. This event marks the launch of our new website and social platform—a milestone for transparency, engagement, and long-term transboundary water collaboration.
As water challenges grow more complex along the US-Mexico border, building a shared digital space to exchange knowledge, support dialogue, and drive cooperation is critical. The platform will serve as a hub for updates, discussions, and partnerships between experts, institutions, and the public.
Special Guests:
-
Gabriel Eckstein, Professor of Law and Director of TAMU Law Program
-
Gilbert Anaya, International Boundary and Water Commission
-
Luzma Faviola Nava, National Council of Science and Technology
-
Todd Votteler, Strategic Counselor
All four guests are members of the PFBW Advisory Committee and bring a wealth of experience in policy, law, science, and strategic planning. This session will offer reflections on achievements, discuss current challenges, and outline the Forum’s future vision.
Moderated as an open Q&A, the event invites participants to interact directly with our Advisory Committee and explore how the new platform enhances transboundary water collaboration between Mexico and the United States.
Event via Zoom.
Come celebrate this new chapter with us, strengthen regional partnerships, and help shape the future of binational water governance through digital innovation.
