Alfonso Rivera is former Chief Hydrogeologist at the Geological Survey of Canada. Physical hydrogeologist, specialized in groundwater modeling, coupled hydro-mechanical and solute transport processes, groundwater exploration, and water resources management. I am emeritus professor at INRS-ETE, U of Québec, and active member of the Académie de l’Eau, France. My current research works are centered around assessment and shared governance of transboundary aquifers.
