The Permanent Forum of Binational Waters (PFBW) is searching for a Science Communication Intern to help us expand our digital presence and share critical facts about water.
This volunteer role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about the environment, sustainability, and water education, and who want to apply their digital communication skills to a meaningful cause.
As a Science Communication Intern, you will be responsible for managing our social media platforms, creating engaging content, and strengthening our online community.
You’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with water experts and share crucial information on cross-border water issues, including projects focused on water sustainability, conservation, and policy.
Your main tasks will include:
- Creating social media content that highlights facts about water and the initiatives of the PFBW.
- Engaging with our online community to promote water education and awareness about global water challenges.
- Supporting the promotion of ongoing water projects and events, such as our Science Talks and Coffee Breaks.
This role is perfect for someone with a background in environmental sciences, communications, or journalism who is eager to use their talents to address critical water challenges.
