iniciativa one coast one community

This year, the issue of binational waters between Mexico and the United States has taken a leading place in the cross-border agenda. The Colorado and Tijuana River basins are at the heart of discussions about the future of our region’s water resilience.

In this spirit, the Permanent Forum of Binational Waters, in collaboration with CETYS University, invites you to the event “Shared Waters and Responsible Economic Development: Data, Talent, and Competitiveness.” The gathering will also feature the launch of the One Coast, One Community initiative and its unique binational water quality data platform.

👉 Reserve your spot now — registration is free.

The One Coast Event will bring together experts, decision-makers, and community leaders from both sides of the border to share perspectives, discuss challenges, and explore science-based solutions. Attendees will enjoy panel discussions, a keynote presentation, and networking opportunities.

The event will be held on Thursday, September 4, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Corporación del Fuerte Auditorium, CETYS University, Tijuana, B.C., Mexico. Simultaneous Spanish–English interpretation will be provided.
