The NADBank Summit’25: Investing in Infrastructure—The Catalyst for a Prosperous U.S.-Mexico Border Region will take place on August 28 and 29 at the Hotel Kimpton Santo, located at 431 S Alamo St, San Antonio, TX 78205. 

This premier binational event will convene experts, policymakers, and community leaders to address the future of infrastructure, water, and agriculture: USA-Mexico, with a focus on sustainable and equitable regional development.

The agenda includes keynote addresses, high-level policy conversations, and six thematic panels:

  • Panel 1: Water is Vital – How investment in water improves quality of life and fuels economic growth
  • Panel 2: Feeding the Future – Water efficiency strategies to ensure agricultural resilience
  • Panel 3: Driving Growth – Clean and efficient mobility as a catalyst for regional integration
  • Panel 4: Reimagining Urban Growth – Balancing development and livability across the border
  • Panel 5: Unlocking Funding – Innovative approaches to mobilizing investment
  • Panel 6: Powering the Future – The intersection of critical minerals and the global energy transition

Keynote speakers at the Summit include

  • Dr. Víctor Manuel Villalobos Arámbula, Director General, Consultoría Campo Agradecido
  • Governor Alfonso Durazo, Government of the State of Sonora
  • Senator John Cornyn, U.S. Senate
  • Congressman Tony Gonzales, U.S. House of Representatives

The summit will also feature the Keynote Conversation: The Lifeblood of Agriculture: A Policy Conversation on Water, moderated by Rosario Sánchez, Director of the Permanent Forum of Binational Waters and Senior Research Scientist at Texas Water Resources Institute.

In addition, this conversation will include Bobby Janecka, Commissioner at the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, and Mario Mata Carrasco, Executive Director of the Junta Central de Agua y Saneamiento del Estado de Chihuahua. Both participants bring essential experience in regional water governance and play a crucial role in advancing binational coordination efforts.
