The General Forum of the Permanent Forum of Binational Waters (PFBW) promotes water cooperation and collaboration among members and the People, Water Working Groups
This virtual space has restricted access and is designed exclusively for registered PFBW members to strengthen interdisciplinary collaboration and binational cooperation for sustainable water management along the U.S.–Mexico border.
The goal of the Forum is to foster an informed, respectful, and constructive dialogue among experts, academics, public institutions, and local communities on issues related to shared water resources, in alignment with the principles of inclusion, and sustainability that guide the PFBW.
Ethical Principles and Values for Water Cooperation
Based on the PFBW Code of Ethics, all participation should reflect the following core values that sustain long-term water cooperation:

- Collaboration and diversity. Value the plurality of perspectives, cultures, and disciplines that enrich the dialogue on water cooperation.
- Integrity. Do not use the forum for political propaganda, commercial advertising, or personal promotion.
Forum Moderation and Water Cooperation Integrity
The PFBW moderation team periodically reviews posts to ensure that discussions remain constructive and aligned with institutional objectives.
Messages will be removed if they:
- Contain inappropriate language or misinformation.
- Share content unrelated to water topics or the purpose of the Forum.

Repeated violations may result in temporary or permanent suspension of access.
